Why Drink Alkaline Water?

One of the key factors in achieving alkaline blood and tissues and restoring your health through optimum pH is by consuming enough high-quality, alkaline water daily.

Dr. Young's famous motto "If the fish is sick, change the water" is very simple, yet true. We are made up of 65%-78% water, and if that water is acidic it will impact our health, and show up in live and dried blood analysis!
When I worked with Dr. Young every single guest was equipped with their own alkalizing, ionizing water machine. This was furnished by Dr. Young because he knows and teaches how critical it is to not only consume enough water, but the right water. This certainly wasn't the only factor in people reversing conditions, many times for which they were given days to live, but it was and IS a very important part of healing and optimum health.

To achieve total hydration, a person should drink approximately one ounce of water per pound of body weight daily. So, a 128 pound person should drink 128 ounces (one gallon) of water daily. There are 3 important factors about water quality that need to be considered: the pH of water, the purity of water, and the charge of water.

The pH of drinking water
Our blood needs to maintain a pH of 7.365 and anything outside of this (even in the range that a person can survive) will be accompanied by an unfortunate health condition. When we eat, drink, and think we produce acid as a by product of the energy it takes to do them. In order to have a balanced, healthy pH we need to overcompensate by consuming very alkaline water and foods. Ideally our drinking water should have a pH of 9-10 to flood our body with alkalizing fluid to bathe our tissues, support our blood, and heal our cells and tissues. Furthermore, if the pH of our water is less than 7.365, the body needs to buffer the difference by manufacturing alkaline mineral salts. It does this by pulling minerals from other areas of the body causing mineral deficiencies which lead to other health conditions.
Tap water often ranges from a pH of 6-7.5, although I have never tested any personally over 7.2 and most often found tap water to test at 6.7-6.9, and some water filters that remove certain chemicals and sediments from water also remove alkalizing minerals and lower the pH of the water even more! Again, the healthiest drinking water to contribute to an alkaline lifestyle will be about 9.5 for best results.

The purity of drinking water
I don't think it requires much explanation that it is best to drink pure water, but what many of us might not realize is how toxic drinking water can be. There are drugs, fluoride, chemicals, yeast, bacteria, mold, acid rain, and even fungi and algae in our tap water and even many brands of bottled water. After a quick search online I was able to find the water source analysis for Southern California where I live and the list of  chemicals, bacteria levels, and filth in my water supply.  Gross. The minute (literally) we found out that our current alkalizer did not eliminate fluoride we decided to get the WaterMark (TM). The thought of poisoning our kids during their precious years of growth and development with poisonous fluoride was inconceivable so we picked it up and installed it the next day! Especially since we are all striving in our home to drink our body weight in ounces daily our water consumption is huge, so our water needs to be pure, alkaline, and fluoride free! One glass of tap water has the same amount of fluoride that a small pea-sized amount of toothpaste has. Do you know what your toothpaste container says if you buy chemical over-the-counter toothpaste? It says to call poison control if that tiny serving size is swallowed.

The charge of drinking water
Our bodies run on electricity, not calories, protein, or sugar. Drinking negatively charged fluids will give us energy and charge our bodies for optimum performance. Dr. Young explains about this negative ionic charge and how the liquids we drink impact our energy, alkalinity, and overall health.

How do I get it?
If you want pure, alkaline, properly charged water like we do there is finally an affordable way.
