Raw, Alkaline, Avocado Pesto
So delicious and also a raw food! Slather on your favorite noodles such as zucchini noodles for a an awesome, raw, alkaline meal/ organic wheat/ or gluten free brown rice pasta...or just use as a dip for veggies!
1/2 Avocado
1/2 cup raw soaked and drained cashews (can sub pine nuts if preferred)
2 cups fresh, raw, organic basil
1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1 Tbsp salt
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
3 Cloves Raw Garlic
Blend! So fast, so easy, and so delicious! My husband says it is the best pesto he has ever eaten. :) You can use any blender, but I find the Magic Bullet works great for this - it is just the right size and easy to clean or store in the fridge if you dot finish it all.
