Lemon Maple Kale Salad (8)
I really think when your goal is to eat salad for most of your diet variety is crucial. This salad is another amazing favorite that adds stunning variety with the intense flavor profiles. I like to use the dino kale, also called lance leaf kale for this one. Slice it along the stem and then take the strips and slice thick ribbons of it. Be sure to get organic raisins and olives for this. Most raisins that are not organic have GMO oil on them to prevent sticking and the olives you want nitrate-free and free from GMO white vinegar.
1 Bunch Organic Dino Kale
Organic Raisins (an handful or to taste)
6-10 Organic Kalamata Olives, chopped
2 Tbsp Maple Syrup
2 Tbsp Fresh Lemon Juice
2 Tbsp. Olive or Grapeseed Oil
House Blend (to taste)
Mix and enjoy!
